After Loreen Small was told a tree planted in her late son's memory was moved nearby to accommodate the construction of a new playground, the TDSB now says the memorial tree was removed altogether.

Loreen Small, Jordan Manners' mother, made the discovery that her late son’s tree and plaque were gone when she went to visit the spot outside Shoreham Public School on Sunday. Manners was 15 years old when he was shot to death in May 2007.
