Sales from Shopify's merchants over Black Friday/Cyber Monday show the impact the novel coronavirus pandemic has had on online shopping, the Ottawa-based company's execs say.

Shopify, one of Canada's biggest tech companies, says it's keeping most of its more than 5,000 employees at home even after the worst of the coronavirus pandemic subsides.
