Sarbjit Matharu was found guilty of four counts of criminal negligence causing death as well as negligence causing bodily harm after the 2016 11-vehicle crash on Highway 400.

"There was no reason for him to not have slowed down his tractor trailer way in advance," Crown attorney Katalin Kirec said.
