Jones offered to pay USD$120,000 per plaintiff in the defamation lawsuit alleging Jones defamed the families of Sandy Hook shooting victims by saying the massacre never occurred.

The parents decided to sue more than five years after the attacks because they had concluded Jones has no intention of leaving them alone.
