A 26-year-old Ottawa man has been charged in relation to a shooting on Russell Road that police say was targeted. He faces attempted murder, firearms and drug charges.

Ottawa police say a man was taken to hospital in critical condition after a shooting early Tuesday morning near the Elmvale Acres Shopping Centre.
