North Korea claims the United States will be punished with a “hail of fire,” and accused President Donald Trump of having “lit the wick of war,” a Russian news agency quoted the North’s foreign minister as saying.

They view the remark by North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho and a recent propaganda video simulating such an attack as tit-for-tat responses to fiery rhetoric by U.S. President Donald Trump and his hardening stance against the North's nuclear weapons program.

North Korea said that a tweet from Donald Trump amounted to a declaration of war. They've made similar claims before.
