According to Lethbridge Family Services, about 150 refugees came to the city in 2018.

In 2016, the city saw an influx of Syrians finding refuge in the city. Two years later, many of them are still calling Lethbridge their home.

It can be a harrowing journey, as millions flea their home countries to find safety and refuge in others, and during World Refugee Day one man shared his four year voyage to safety that eventually landed him in Lethbridge.
