London will see a reduction in VIA Rail services beginning Wednesday, Jan. 19 as part of overall frequency reductions for services in the Quebec City-Windsor corridor.

The federal government is working to determine how passenger rail in southwestern Ontario may be improved to provide better service, according to Canada's transport minister.
