Hydro-Québec says electricity has been restored for one-third of affected customers while in Ontario, power outages are expected to be a 'multi-day' situation.

The lights should be back on for the majority of affected homes by the end of the day, according to Hydro-Québec, but it could take longer for thousands of customers.
