Edmonton resident Phillip Goncalves says he couldn't sit idly by as local Pride organizers cancelled this year's parade amid conflicts over inclusivity.

For the first time, officers with the Edmonton Police Service and RCMP will not wear their uniforms while participating in the Edmonton Pride Parade next month.
