Peace River RCMP believe a pedestrian who was struck and killed along with his dog on a country road had earlier crashed a pickup truck into a creek.

A three-vehicle collision in northwestern Alberta left one man dead and injured four other people, including a young boy who was rushed to an Edmonton hospital in life-threatening condition.
