Ottawa city council passed its 2021 budget, denied a call to freeze transit fares and approved major changes to its deal with the operators of Lansdowne Park on Wednesday.

The City of Ottawa is capping the price of transit fares for its low-income residents amid a planned three-percent property tax hike in 2021.
