The Edmonton Oilers donated 1,000 hats gathered after Leon Draisaitl's hat trick Sunday night to Bissell Centre, Hope Mission and Operation Friendship.

Volunteers with Operation Friendship pulled double duty Tuesday, serving as Santa's elves. They'll help deliver 350 personalized gifts to seniors across the city.
