Two weeks ago, Danielle Tomasino spent over seven and a half hours with her three-year-old at Lakeridge’s Ajax Pickering Hospital.

Data released by Health Quality Ontario shows patients waited an average of 20.7 hours to be admitted to the hospital from the emergency room in July.
