Mike Pompeo has been tapped by the U.S. president to replace Rex Tillerson as secretary of state.

The Senate confirmed Donald Trump's nominee to run the CIA despite some objections that Mike Pompeo has been less than transparent about his positions on torture, surveillance and Russia.
