An investigation is underway after residents in southeast Calgary say a lack of water pressure in fire hydrants delayed firefighting efforts in a blaze that damaged two homes last weekend.

One of Calgary Fire Department’s rescue boats was temporarily pulled from service Tuesday. The firefighter’s union said it was done to reduce staffing costs.
