A woman who relies on provincial and federal disability benefits says she and other Albertans like her are ineligible for the federal government's one-time rent benefit.

Families Minister Rochelle Squires said Wednesday that eligible households receiving employment assistance can access the benefits, as can low-income renters who aren't on EIA.
