Tory MP Pierre Poilievre said there were 680,000 shares of the company sold on Nov. 30, 2015 – one week before the tax legislation was tabled on Dec. 7, 2015., but it's unclear sold the shares.

The office of the ethics commissioner is investigating Finance Minister Bill Morneau for his involvement in Bill C-27.

Bill Morneau introduced Bill C-27 a year ago, while he still held about $21 million worth of shares in his family's firm.
