Nearly six months after a forensic investigation highlighted $2.1 million of questionable spending on the Alexander First Nation, some band members are upset, saying not enough has been done to fix the problems.

In the wake of a new sex assault charge being laid against the chief of a First Nation north of Edmonton, a group calling itself the Alexander Women Warriors held a rally Thursday to express outrage over the fact he still represents them.

The Alexander First Nation has issued a "complete and total media blackout" less than one week after Edmonton media outlets reported the First Nation's chief was charged with sexual assault.
