Family and friends of Kalwinder "Kris" Thind are planning to hold a candlelight vigil on the one-year anniversary of the 23-year-old’s unsolved murder.

Today would have been Maple Batalia's 26th birthday. At a screening of a film about her life and death, supporters called for justice for another murdered youth.
