The Kingston Accommodation Partners and Kingston-area spas are calling on the province to allow spas to operate outdoor patios to deliver some of their services.

Kingston city officials estimate the new tax would raise just over $3 million a year. Money, the city says, would go to fund Tourism Kingston, and promote the city as a tourist destination.
