The award concluded a long-running class-action lawsuit related to Justice Institute attacks, in which people linked to the school were targeted with arsons and shootings.

An earlier trial heard 15 families across Metro Vancouver were terrorized after a man who saw them park at the justice training centre in New Westminster, B.C., tracked them down using information from their licence plates.

A former ICBC employee charged with accessing the personal information of the Justice Institute attack victims is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
