An injured snowmobiler was recused near the Hunters Range sledding area on Saturday night. Friends lit a fire, did basic first aid and were able to make an SOS call via satellite.

Vernon Search and Rescue came to the aid of an injured snowmobiler near Enderby. The snowmobiler was airlifted, then transferred to an awaiting air ambulance team.
