A woman was taken to hospital after being hit by a train at a Health Sciences/Jubilee LRT Station in the University of Alberta area Friday afternoon.

Sharda Devi Naidu, 78, said she's felt unsafe on the Edmonton LRT for a while, particularly when coming home from late night shifts at the University of Alberta Hospital.
