Sunday was proclaimed "Thank You Mr. Hockey Day" in Saskatoon and across the province of Saskatchewan.

Since Gordie Howe's death on June 10 numerous tributes have been made in his honour. Now it is time for Howe's hometown to celebrate. The Saskatoon Blades will host Thank You Mr. Hockey Day Sept. 25.
