The mom of an Edmonton toddler killed when an SUV crashed into a restaurant patio met privately "mother to mother" with Premier Alison Redford on Saturday.

A judge ruled Friday afternoon to grant bail to 62-year-old Richard Suter, who is accused of driving impaired in a crash that killed a two-year-old boy on a restaurant patio Sunday.
