Kawartha Conservation urges area residents to practice water safety and avoid waterways, as milder weather could cause increased runoff into waterbodies that are already high.

Areas around St. Jean Baptiste and Morris Manitoba are under a flood warning, while a flood watch has been issued for a number of other communities in the south of the province.
