Police across the province are participating in this year's firearm amnesty program where residents are offered an opportunity to surrender unwanted guns.

Today is the final day Barrie residents can voluntarily surrender unwanted or illegally owned firearms, weapons, accessories or ammunition under the month-long gun amnesty.
