The City of Hamilton has launched an initiative aimed at improving emergency response to vacant farmland that doesn’t have a municipal address.

Scott Trudeau began The Emily Project in 2014 after he lost his daughter to a farming accident. When 911 was called, ambulance could not locate her. On Tuesday the first Farm 911 was installed in Northumberland County.
