Alberta couple Collet and David Stephan, who are accused in their son's death, are asking for $4 million in legal costs be covered by the province and asking for their charges to be thrown out.

Cecilia Bernadette Chmura committed suicide after being denied a medically assisted death. Her husband David Dunn was taken into custody and could now face criminal charges.
