RCMP began the aggravated assault investigation on Nov. 16. The victim, later identified as Ronald (Roy) Savoy, died on Dec. 23 in hospital from his injuries. 

The RCMP in New Brunswick say they are continuing to investigate a stabbing yesterday in a parking lot in Eel River Crossing.
