Doug Luey confirmed to Global News Saturday that he has stepped down as the Canadian Lacrosse Association's director of high performance and international relations.

The Canadian Lacrosse Association is searching for players outside the National Lacrosse Team Players Association to compete in the World Lacrosse Championship, which is less than two months away.
