Five grounds of "public importance" are being argued by Dennis Oland's lawyers as reason for the Supreme Court of Canada to acquit him and find his second-degree murder conviction an "unreasonable verdict."

A judgement is set to be made next week over whether the New Brunswick Court of Appeal erred in its judgement last year to deny Dennis Oland's bid for bail after he appealed his second-degree murder conviction.
