Just days before Daniella Mallia was shot to death in a Toronto parking garage, her ex-boyfriend Dylan Dowman sent her text messages threatening to kill her, the Crown alleged.

Toronto police said on Thursday at 1:05 p.m., officers received a medical call at 2265 Jane Street.
