The Public Health Agency of Canada made the announcement on Twitter a day after Parliament voted down a Conservative opposition motion to revert to pre-pandemic rules for travel.

A negative COVID-19 molecular test must be provided by all travellers over the age of five, regardless of citizenship or vaccination status, in order to enter the country.
