• 2 visitors to Foothills hospital confirmed to have COVID-19 linked to outbreaks

  As of Tuesday, five units in the hospital had outbreaks of the novel coronavirus and three units were on outbreak watch.

  More than 300 tests have been done since the outbreaks were declared, both on staff and patients who were believed to have been exposed to the virus.

  A COVID-19 outbreak was first declared on Sept. 19 in the cardiac unit of the hospital. The next day, a second outbreak was declared in the general medicine unit.
