Patients and staff on two Foothills Medical Centre units are being screened twice daily for COVID-19 symptoms in light of recently declared outbreaks.

A COVID-19 outbreak was first declared on Sept. 19 in the cardiac unit of the hospital. The next day, a second outbreak was declared in the general medicine unit.
