This is first Pumpkin Smash celebrated at the Common Roots Urban Farm's new Halifax location.

Common Roots Urban Farm held a community session Sunday afternoon to plan the way forward for its new location at the Bi-Hi Park.

Halifax Regional Council passed a motion on Tuesday that will ultimately move the urban farm to the Bi-Hi Park, located near Bicentennial Drive and Bayers Road.

The urban farm has until April 2019 to find a new home, as their current location will become part of the Halifax Infirmary expansion and QE11 Health Sciences Centre New Generation Project.
