The inferno, which destroyed four homes and damaged several others, is believed to have broken around 6:30 p.m. out in in a garage near 192a Street and 73 Avenue.

One resident is being treated for smoke inhalation, the other for serious injuries, according to Surrey Fire Service Acting Assistant Chief Jerry Siggs.
