The family of a Calgary boy battling a life-threatening illness is paying it forward in a big way.

His parents, Taylor Bland-Ball and Joshua McAdams, had asked the court to allow them to forego chemotherapy in favour of alternative remedies, such as medical cannabis, vitamins and diet treatments.
