Due to icy conditions widespread Montreal-area school boards and institutions have announced closures Thursday morning.

Centennial Academy was founded in 1969 by a group of teachers who believed they could do more for kids with learning challenges. Five decades later, the school claims it has now become a leader in helping students succeed, even beyond academics.

Centennial Academy, a private school, has been looking for a new building for six years. For the next year, they could be sharing space with two other EMSB public schools.
