The news came a day after Bruce Rodrigues was appointed by Education Minister Stephen Lecce in response to reports that found anti-Black and systemic racism within the Peel District School Board.

"We are awaiting a formal order concluding the proceeding, but terms to end the litigation were agreed upon over the weekend," a Peel District School Board spokesperson said.
