The City of Kingston is the proud new owner of a basin — as in, Confederation Basin. Council approved the purchase of the prime water lot in front of City Hall.

'It's an opportunity for people to view sights from the water, and the city, as they've never been able to previously,' says Laurie Paquin, project manager for Kingston.
