BMO Financial Group raised its dividend as it reported fourth-quarter net income of $4.48 billion, up from $2.16 billion in the same quarter last year.

BMO said Wednesday in its earnings results it will now pay a quarterly dividend of $1.39 per share, up six cents from $1.33 per share.
