Less than a week after a U.S. lab said it detected benzene in several popular over-the-counter acne products, Health Canada said it is reviewing the findings. 

Health Canada is advising Canadians that the use of over-the-counter acne products applied to the skin containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid may cause rare but serious allergic reactions.
