Simon Fraser University, Vancouver Island University, UVic and UBC will receive the funding, with the bulk going to projects at the Vancouver and Okanagan UBC campuses.

While campus security at some B.C. universities have been equipped with Narcan (a Naloxone nasal spray), other post-secondary institutions have staff that have been trained, but are not yet equipped with the lifesaving drug.
