More than a year since the largest wildfire in Nova Scotia's history spread across Shelburne County, residents are thanking first responders with a weekend of celebrations.

A Wildfire Recovery Concert will be held at the Scotiabank Centre on Friday, featuring high-profile local talent. Proceeds will go to the United Way Wildfire Recovery Appeal.
