Friends, community members and the local MLA held a fundraiser Sunday afternoon for four families who were displaced by a large fire at an Eastern Passage, N.S., duplex.

An invitation to an upcoming ice-cream social arrived on party letterhead, and was the subject of a complaint to the leadership selection committee.
