Police have arrested a man after they say fraudulent bank drafts were used to obtain multiple vehicles with a combined value of nearly half a million dollars.

Authorities in southern Alberta are warning people to be aware after an 81-year-old senior was defrauded of $250,000 in a sweepstakes scam.
