The new bylaw includes new licensing requirements for vendors, reductions in the number of days fireworks can be sold around holidays, and new monetary penalties.

If politicians approve the draft bylaw, Londoners would be able to ignite backyard fireworks on Lunar New Year, Victoria Day, Canada Day and Diwali.
